McCain prides himself on his humor and "quick wit" but it looks like Barack Obama is giving him a run for his money in the laughs department. He's increasingly turning to humor to blunt the McCain attacks and it's playing well. Here he jokes with the crowd about gas prices and the Bush Administration (as if that's funny).Barack Obama:John McCain started running an ad yesterday saying the Washington is "broken." No kidding. In e-mail to supporters, MoveOn.org states:At the world's largest motorcycle rally, John McCain angrily accused Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi of skipping out on votes to solve the energy crisis. "Tell 'em to get to work!" he shouted. This from the man who has skipped more votes than any other senator. I really need to get over being impressed with the presentation of these John McCain ads. However, I wonder if people will miss the message and just see the pretty pictures. His latest ad once again ties our energy crisis to National Security. He's figured out that the economy is the number one issue and the only way that he can look like a candidate that's better able to handle it than Barack Obama is to make it about our national security. That's clearly McCain's strength, and the ad tries to remind
